Ive only been an e30 owner since the beginning of august but atm i am having unhealthy thoughts about owning a 325i chromie cab with leather sports seats. In other words im already thinking of buying another e30.

E30s are like mistresses, one is never enough
318i Touring
On the other hand - Someones strap line is "If its got tits or wheels, its trouble"
That seems more appropriate for me. Anyway - enough of this Chrome talk

these cars are highly addictive, unlike any other mark ive ever owned, and ive had a few !!!
im on my third e30 now (my best 1 yet) and although you have the odd issue with them, i'd never be without mine!! when problem free she gives me so much satisfaction to drive and i love her loads...... i'd rather my e30 than a misses in some respects, appart from the obvious!!

A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better

A wise man (semi-drunk) in a pub once told me "if women never had fannies you would throw bricks at them"e30-dk wrote:these cars are highly addictive, unlike any other mark ive ever owned, and ive had a few !!!

Agreed,I have two,and a wife, all three seem to require servicing at regular intervals....Felix79 wrote:and drain all your money!TouringTash wrote:E30s are like mistresses, one is never enough
And Felix, buy carefully and maintain by DiY,and overall costs can be contained to sensible limits.
Youth is wasted on the young.
stick to one decent one they do cost to get/keep nice even when you do most mechanical work yourself bodywork is a big cost now with these. i find all this owning multiple cars a bit fetishistic owning several is a pain and you can only drive one at a time. Its even more pointless when they are virtually the same car eg two e3o 325's. Most people i know who own several cars only drive at most two of them the rest just sit around not being used and therefore going to waste.

The way I see it three is the sensible amount for ownership, well for me
1. Pride and joy 318 touring (though about to go into hibernation)
2. Workhorse 325 touring (gets parts to zoners all over/dog to woods/me to the middle of nowhere)
3. ?????? maybe convertible to help top up my tan.
Then again its easy for me as I don't own a wife.

Motorhole wrote:Yes...also having unclean thoughts about a 2nd E30. When I finish my track car build, maybe a stitch welded moredoor, keeping all the seats with an S14 or M42 stroker for the road...everyday sleeper.
Keep it 4 doors and pov spec it up even down to wheel trims... Proper sleeper...

I've had my cab just over a year now. Want another E30 to replace the Clio I use for work.
Thinking of getting an IS as a daily driver. Happen to know where one could be bought for £200
