Not a lot to say...a few bodywork cosmetics to sort barr that its a stunning car and so much fun to drive...prefer it over my all singing and dancing e36 328iSE I'm using at the moment!

Get some pictures later but here is a shot...included with the arch repairs on show...will all be sorted by next weekend :) and next I don't know...I never expected to be back in another one! 316i LUX where everything touch wood works...Brilliant car, just one picture but you get the idea.

Alpine White with OEM body...for the win...project restoration check and doing :D

Image

And welcome my stunning (with winter wheels) 328 iSE...now redundant due to this e30 being awesome

Notice the arch work...its getting there and I'm still smiling today at the car!!!

Any comment welcomed

Your winter wheels are ok - wouldn't mind some for mine. The current Alpinas just seem a bit OTT & I'm contemplating some OEMness. Does look a bit odd with your (lack of!) front suspension though...

So go on - what are your plans for the E30?
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

After seeing how immaculate the shell is and the fact its straight, who knows what ideas I could kunger alone at uni on those cold dark nights for this project :)

Plans for E30 are getting the body immaculate but my vision follows these lines...spotted this years ago and fell in love...now I own a alpine white E30...lets hope I can copy something like this in time for show season next year :)

I read your comment and laughed so here is how the E36 normally looks.

You'd hate the ''normal'' summer wheels...

the car had done 190k but due to a BMW recall via the Nikisil issue the engine had in fact done ALOT ALOT less...the government database does not take this into account everytime you can an engine or do a service. My old 328 coupe was an absoloute flying machine as you've seen and were well aware before you bought the engine. \the 8L of oil drained was in fact inhibiting oil. The reason for the inhibiting oil was to make sure of no corrosion issues before the engine went into my red E30...I never knew your username and with the shear volume of parts and bits sold over that short period I never remebered it after you told me. We do even now still have the MAF and downpipes for the M52 as I#d hoped you'd contact me before these past 7 months, but I hope this clears the air and clarifies the points...P.S I still maintain that the engine you have, providing nothing adverse has happened with it and it has been stored in a dry environment, you have a very good and strong engine so stop worrying and get on and fit the engine in the car :D
