Hi , Ive bought some rather nice BIG wheels asured they will fit and indeed did come off of an E30. I would like to know what tyre size would be best to fit them. They are 18.5" !! My motors a 18i touring :)

To keep the rolling diameter the same, you need 205/35R18. I've never heard of 18.5's though, and finding any tyre in that size is going to be tough.

Why would you want your car to look like a pushbike anyway?

Thats huge dude. Your wheels I mean...

And yeah, keep the profile as low as you can go.

Are you sure they are 18.5? Very odd number to have, not seen any before.

205/45/17 or 205/50/17

225s are too wide without arch work and/or stiff suspension

I used 215/40/17 as I found the 45 profile caused rubbing on my drop

I got 205/45/17 on my cab, lowered about 40mm and it seems alright apart from the extreme tyre wear and flames when I drive it... :D No, its ok to be honest. :D
