That is possibly the icing on the cake I reckon. An expensive but essential part for this car.

Anyhow moving on from the deviant spammers. I'm trying to move on with the engine and related bits now. As i've the money, so lets spend it before the VAT rise!

Takes a f**kin age to clean a minging M20 sump up properly. Its the only one i have left now in stock lol. Used to have about 4-5 lying around.

I bought this nice AFM off andyboy along time ago off a sport he broke as its a replacement in VGC but it was missing the cap like they all are! so i've got this little new red one. £4! from bmw i nearly fell on the floor! cheeky twats but a much needed item!

Bit of cruise control throttle cable action. I realised at the time of fitting, that i need to get a clutch switch and bracket. Thought i had but i still need to fit the loom/ECU/stalk as all i've fitted is the engine bay loom and actuator

double vacum hose setup from the servo on. Now most servos are rusty old sh!t. But this one isn't and came from my old 4dr option miester that i saved complete with the original ATE/BMW part number sitcker! It appears to me that the autos use the setup pictured and the manual cars are different, ie that the hole on the servo is the opposite side to the auto one and the pipe work is a single pipe not double. I should take a picture of the touring to show it really 1000 words and all that. Only the true eagle eyed homo would know this and they both work but i thought i'd say!

Engine bay fuel pipes. now if you buy fuel hose from bmw its about £8 a meter like i have. only because the "proper" ones on the etk are £28 each?! not sure whats going on there

new bolts and washers for PAS setup. i can only fit the ones to the rack at the moment. Anyone know the torque settings for these?

An assortment of new clutch parts. All thats left now is the clutch itself. These are FAG master and slave stuff from GSF. OE without OE price, £90 all in for both. they're also motorsport and have a light ally casing instead of the heavy steal of the original items! might i add it was a slave failure that took this car off the road originally in 2006. Glad i've finally fixed it now and a few other bits along the way

A new clutch resvoir is about £11 with the lid and strainer. Its over a fiver for a new lid and every E30 needs a new lid! lovely

Master cylinder in

jubbly with the new hose to finish it off. This hose is so bloody stiff, i had to use a heat gun to soften it up to get it to slide on each end.

now these are the last 2 A/C pipes i needed. £70 and £80 each, all the ones i have secondhand where full of rust internally so no good. Why does everything come with a million labels/stickers!!!

2 different types? is one R12 mone R134a maybe?

Ready to go on with a lubed up grommet...........

All important rubber "o" rings on

Gromment in on its own. What a c***. Bloody thing, i nearly swore
bolted up. A/C retro fit is not for the faint hearted! i'd hate to fit it to a running car. i've hated fitting and buying the bits for this car. But if its on the road before we run out off Oil and its hot it shall be worth it i say!
So a good day me thinks

Yeah looking forward to the end result! Could you pm me part number (if you have them) for clutch slave and master as I think it's a good idea for me to replace these when I do my swap.

I think it;s about 22Nm. Surely you have a Bentley etc.Simon13 wrote:new bolts and washers for PAS setup. i can only fit the ones to the rack at the moment. Anyone know the torque settings for these?
Must use new crush washers either side of the banjo - so 2 per end, 4 per hose.
