Picked up an e39 520 with no mot for a song yesterday .

Before i stick it in for an mot i need to fix the full beam problem.

Problem is they dont work. The blue light comes on the cluster but there doesnt seem to be power getting to the bulbs .

Anyone point me in the right direction to getting this sorted ?
Is there a fuse ,relay?

if there is a relay for them it might be in the right hand side of the boot .. next to the battery?

i had my E39 for 3yrs but never had any prob's with the light's, just ABS sensors & cam sensors :)

how to: http://www.lcm-repairs.co.uk/page1.html .. they also repair the unit's if faulty

not 100% but i think if the LCM is faulty then the main/full beam stays on?

Have you checked the fuses (above the glovebox and above the battery in the boot) Jake?
