e39 headlight problem

Picked up an e39 520 with no mot for a song yesterday .

Before i stick it in for an mot i need to fix the full beam problem.

Problem is they dont work.The blue light comes on the cluster but there doesnt seem to be power getting to the bulbs .

Anyone point me in the right direction to getting this sorted ?
Is there a fuse ,relay?

if there is a relay for them it might be in the right hand side of the boot .. next to the battery?

i had my E39 for 3yrs but never had any prob's with the light's, just ABS sensors & cam sensors

quick look through my Haynes: there is a light control module, sat behind the drivers side footwell kick panel

i'll keep looking

not 100% but i think if the LCM is faulty then the main/full beam stays on?

Have you checked the fuses (above the glovebox and above the battery in the boot) Jake?

Yeah no mention of fuses for the headlights

Glovebox fuses 16/41 do the LCM
