1991 year models

in uk 1991 = H/J reg right, i'm sure I nearly bought a J reg 325iS once, but weirdly I can't find one anymore, am i right in thinking i DID see a J reg one, it was nice too, shame i didn't have the cash to buy it then.

Welcome to the zone. I have a 1991 H rege. I think J is mainly if not all 1992 cars. They made the motorsport cab in 92, but im not sure about the sport.

I think they are very very rare. Most of them will have just been registered late. You will have to look hard to find another!

They did indeed register 325i sports on J reg's, I've got one! Mine was registered Feb 1992, though digging a bit deeper it was actaully built in 1991, so must have been sat in dealer stock for a while.

There's also a very small number of K reg sports, like this one: clicky clicky though again the likelihood is that these will have been built in 1991.

I beleive there was one for sale recently too..............

Mine is a J reg 325i Sport. Registered in '92, but the build date is '91.

And theres another Silver one on here.

There is meant to be a K reg Sport somewhere around around as well

I know for a J plate 325i sport in red for sale at the moment

don't forget that J can be 1991 too, as J plate run from August 1991 to end of July 1992.

in 1991 production ceased for saloons and M3, so they are all just registered late. only cabs and tourings kept going after

My sister has a beautiful 1991 E36 j reg 316 in white with windys and 4 doors. what a turd!

I have a J reg sport was registered August '91 but according to realoem was built '90.

They stopped production of the E30 saloon in March 1991 (H) but rightly said above the letter on the plate is a Registration date which could be anything.

My C2's a '91 on a J plate. It's one of the last ones built by Sytners, must give them a ring to find out how close to the end it is.

my 91 H plate was registered summat like 6 days before the J plate.... dont know why they wouldnt wait a week longer to get the new plate.

no they didn't because my old 318iS was built in june 1991

i think it was august/july 1991 they stopped production because there are very very early E36 saloons about on H plates
