Hello folks,

Me again.. The 2.8 saga continues! Managed to get a 288 cam and some uprated rockers...

I thought that I had valve springs sorted, but it seems all the supplier has done is taken the money from my credit card and not supplied parts... :x Why is doing anything in the UK so difficult??!! Another problem to solve..

Anyway - bottom line is that I need advice on springs and where to get them - do I just need to ring up Ant with a shopping list??

My assumption is I will need something like Schrick double valve springs, but I am open to suggestions!

Thanks all,
Cheers,

If your cam is a Schrick unit you'll find that Schrick list their valve springs as "suggested" but not "necessary". Me, I just went with their springs because I could get a set at a price too good to pass up.

Thanks guys - I have set myself a 7500 limit. With the 288 cam I figure peak is going to be about 6800ish, change up at 7200 and 7500 limit in case I need to hang onto a gear in a corner or because of my over enthusiasm...!
