They are quite tricky to get hold of tbh mate be prepared to spend about £90 +
only other sump that will fit is apparently off a 728 not sure which one though

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Exactly.... £90 all in is a fair guess if you can find one!
I got a sump from the scrap yard but only a sump. Just ordered my pick up pipe and dip stick new. £70 all in.

Aye the prices of these are ridiculous,
prices are only bumped up because people know the engine conversion cant be completed without it
Pete1247..
you could p.m MarkT
he's using one off a 728, and apparently they fit
just ask him which one he's using?

Stick to a 2nd hand sump mate
Cost of new will tear you a new arse hole.

Stick an ad on BMW5.co.uk see if someone is breaking an E34?
Also, just fire off loads of emails everywhere, ebay breakers, parts finders, bmw specialists, other forums, I bet someone comes back with something mate, I had the same problem, got offered 2 of them and one turned up at the local scrappers so ended up getting one for £15. Don't give up too easy

You can use the inlet manifold as well from the m50 if you endup buying a complete engine. I must have got lucky with mine, 2min search and a phone call later and I had it.

No prob, but be advised they are a royal pain in the arse to remove if the engine isn't out! Even with the car on its side, took me about 3 hourspete1247 wrote:sweet think i might have one from a scrap yard not far away gonna fly up there tomorow have a look cheers for that
