Spotted this for sale in a near the scrappy. It starts, and the exhaust is boomy. Some of the electrics dont work and has Rear Sill corrosion. Key for the lock and ignition are different. Very risky to buy this one though it could be a complete turd. Up for £3K.

What shame this hand built M car ends up here.

Its the near rear side sill. Did not have a proper look though.

That is a breaker, as most of them are nowadays :(

£1200 is plenty, assuming the engine and box are OK.

Agreed. £1500 absolute top whack. You can get decent up and running 3.6s for less than £3000.

Criminal to see one like this. But 1500 is top whack for that and I'd be flogging it in bits in no time.

I said "decent up and running". I didn't say "good". The last time I looked on Pistonheads there were a few between £2500 and £3500.

Im sure that one is local to me. It was owned by somebody in my immediate area - i saw it almost everyday and it looked very nice!

One nice thing I noticed is that it has the original rear screen Cotswold Cheltenham. It also has a climate control which feels cool to use.

That looks like a nice project to me, too good to break, though not for the 3 bags they want for it. The car has SLS issue's and the sad deluded vendor will try to make you think this car be sorted for £150, the car has also been on the market for over 12 months. He would have saved a lot of ebay fees if he had accepted the £1250 offer I tabled for it quite some time ago !
The car also has "no dents or rust" because its been repainted, poorly, the side skirts and lower bumpers should be black not silver :D

Edit - when I viewed the car it was not in Hertfordshire, it was near Exeter, so it must have changed hands at some point and is now up for sale again...
