Just had my M50 lump delivered and I can't figure out what the plug is for!
It comes out from the loom near starter and is similar to the bottom injector plug on an M20 but there is nowhere for it to plug into, its round and 4 pin with a threaded plastic surround. Can any1 tell me what its for? I'm thinkin the lambda sensor but I could be wrong.

I would guess at a lambda sensor.

I think they are the same between vanos and non vanos - bmwfans.info seems to think so anyway. Anybody able to confirm? £40 posted? I think it cost me about £65-£70 (it was a while ago though :chuckle:)
