Don't want to sound like I'm picking faults but if I get bored I would probably change the oil etc or at best find an irritating fault and fix that rather than cut holes in my bonnet...

You would find the OME airbox will give the best performance rather than some aftermarket cone filter sicking out of the headlight hole. Also if it is a 318i is there any point in doing any performance upgrades other than putting a different engine or turbo/super charger route?
