What are these like as a daily, ie mpg, servicing costs etc? I keep looking at this.

I'm not really interested in the performance on offer, I just love the looks/styling! Also does the price look reasonable, bearing in mind it's not the same buyers market over here as you have right now.

When i had my E28 i used http://forum.bmw5.co.uk/ and found the guys very helpful,

That car does look nice but in Black they all do. im thinking of shifting my 944 to make room for one of these myself.

I have a feeling the mpg could be off-putting...

If one of these came up at a good price I would definately snap it up.
They just look so old skool badass.

Parking permits over here don't really allow for having a weekend cruiser. Low to mid twenties is no worse than my touring delivers ....

Price is in line with continental europe prices. In fact, that one is up for exactly the same price as one on sale in Spain at the moment, although the Spanish one is probably less rusty !

Looks nice on the Hartges, mid to late 20s achievable, mine would nudge 30 mpg on a long run but is closer to 20 around town...Servicing no more expensive than an M20 really tbh, parts availability is still pretty good too. You will enjoy the torque 8)
