Hi folks. I've been away for a while up in the little town of Shrewsbury (that place where the police are so shit they bust babyshambles for some cheap publicity) Anyway I've done loads of work on the car. 6 days I spent working on the damn thing.

New gearbox (cheers swirly) w/ z3 2.8 lever.

new standard front disks and half decent pads including full change of fluid.

made a nice little bracket for the CD changer (cheers ant) to bolt under drivers seat, it's bolted to the two front seat bolts.

blocked up the holes in the metel shelf under the parcel shelf to tighten up the bass on the chav by nines, made a big difference!

rebuilt the front end and changed the rear bumper.

started to clean up the sils in prep for the (mtec1 I think) side skirts so when they're fitted the car will actually look tidy instead of a rust bucket :)

fitted a chav exhaust as it was available. was a phat twin tailpipe heap of shit but I cut one pipe off and it's quite ncie now. not too loud and doesn't look *too* bad. though I've already noticed how people react differently to a chav exhaust and body coloured bumpers!!!

fixed up the rear light that's been out for ages.

new door because the old one was dented and rusted at the bottom.

fixed up the power steering which hadn't worked for a couple of months.

Did a few other bits and bobs aswell so I'm really happy with her now. as soon as the skirts are on it will look tidy enough not to worry about, then I can start on the performance stuff. lsd is top of the list, I'm SOOOOO fed up of the open diff. I hate it!

anyway, that's what I've been up to recently. not posted much but still dishing out the e30 tlc :)

You have been busy!

Shrewsbury, that place rings a bell, either my nan lives near there or on the way up to my nans we would meet her there.

Is it near Lincoln at all?

Hello :D

Thought I hadn't seen you on MSNM for a while.

I know what's in shrewsbury, did you let you old man have a play with it?

What I'd give to have those sort of tools/parts/equipment at hand

He gacve me a hand changing the gearbox but we didn't really spend any time playing with the cool stuff. his attitude is that there's not much point until there's something we can actually change... Hopefully I'll be getting a unichip when I'm next at home, which will be Christmas I think. Then the real fun will begin cos I can get the remap kit and start on MAF conversion and then start to really get to work on supercharger :)

I'm looking forward to seeing your beast!
