which e30?

Ok i'm looking to purchase my first e30. I currently drive a euroed e36 and will be keeping this, looking for a second car with a bit of grunt but not monsterous insurance and i have a budget of about 1k i was think of a 320?.

i was happy with my 320,although i have to say my 325i is exceptionally quicky i was still happy with my 320i,but my insurance hasnt gone up at all since i change,and im only 23
worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do but it never really gets you anywhere
