audi or bmw master cylinder?

with the old girl running now (thanks to ant at A-tec)and just the last few bits to do, it would apear that i have brought the wrong master cylinder!
the 750i cylinder i have has the wrong number of exits and i cant seem to get another one for sensible money.

The other alterative is a audi master cylinder that would be cheaper to buy from ecp or gsf than a 750i cylinder from bmw.

Has anyone fitted a audi master cylinder and what modle did it come from?

iirc mine is for a 1985 audi coupe quattro, it cost about £70 from gsf.
