ive been told my 320 has had a 325 in it, but because its getting dark i cant find the engine number, but one off the welsh plugs has 2.5 stamped on it, would this meen anything, if not, is there any othr way i can check

It's not unusual for 320 owners to fit a 325 manifold and throttle body to their engines in their quest for power, so this isn't a reliable method.
The only way to check for sure is to check the engine type number, or look for a large 2.5/2.7 stamped on the side of the head.
Checking the ECU label is another clue, but again not conclusive, as a 320 ECU can be 'chipped' to 325 spec.

Check the plug isn't 25mm in diameter.
Never noticed anything stamped on a welsh plug before.
