Yes.

Only difference is that they are silver instead of black and they do not have the drain point on them.
I have fitted two and had no fitting problems.

Drain point? Daimler, tell me more about that? I want to check if there is rust in mine and if I can drain it without it going through the pumps it would be helpful. :D

OE tank is the one on the right.... :D

Drain point is top right,I have never yet succeeded in removing a drain plug, one OE tank was so flimsy that the metal surrounding it twisted first!

I drain them via the top two holes, using an oil syringe to transfer the fuel to a can,but please be very careful if you try this at home, boys and girls, because petrol is highly dangerous stuff to move like this,a spark from static electricity will see you needing more than new eyebrows.

Nice one mate! Will give it a shot as removing the plug first, the second method, I would rather not do.

If all goes to plan, the back end of the chromie is coming off over the winter for a full refurb on everything so when the tank comes off, I will have a proper look then.

I have a GSF tank same as daimlermans, if you plan on doing an engine conversion with something a bit thirsty then dont bother, anything under half a tank and I get fuel starvation on hard right handers.

I also had one in my old 4 door with a 2.5 M50 and it was fine, changed to a M52B28 and the problems started at quarter of a tank,,,,

This is due to the pot that the in-tank pump sits in, its a different shape/size on the GSF tank
