Previous thread not getting any attention
Basically sold a 2.5 crank as a 2.8 - may have been an innocent mistake due to lack of knowledge, however has failed to respond to any contact
Relevant thread - any info appreciated to help me 'deal' with the issue

Guys - I dont believe that this is Tim Sands.
Anyway a small update - he appears to be responding via the retro rides forum and has so far advised me that he was there, with the log book in his hand when the crank was taken out, he advised that the crank was purchased from Quarry Motors, Sheffield (Top marks to Detective Rav) This ties in with the QM on the crank.
Was going to approach them direct and ask them to check their records - dont know how receptive they will be to this - any thoughts on how to play this?
Nice pic with the QM mark and the HUB75 which indicates the stroke (75=2.5) Hub 84 should be 2.8 im advised

I doubt they'll have records of the transaction but if you explain the situ they may allow you to swap. They've been about a long time and have a good rep in my experience.

Mick - I cant figure it out - I noticed a thread on here from a few years ago where a zoner bought a 328 crank....which also had the HUB75 mark on it, last piece of advice was how to measure it?
