What alarm is everyone fitting? do any stand out as being to avoid?

I've got original BMW, it's round key which goes in to the lock like hole just below the door lock winkeye

I've got an original BMW alarm too...... doesn't work though. Would also like to know what people recommend!

The engineers here at work suggest either Cobra or Gemel.

I've heard Toad are good, or Clifford, but then again I'd go with above. Obviously get the best you can afford.

I have fitted Clifford in the past and to be honest found them to very un reliable, I wouldn't buy one.

Cobra or Laserline without any doubt.

I have a cobra and a laserline, they are both very good. I have heard nothing but good things about toad systems but I would also recommend against clifford.

i have viper cat 1 with pager on mine. pager gives you time to get out the front with a bat and take the thieving scumbags head off :x hahahahaha
A 2 door e30 with 8 cylinders, what could be better winkeye :D
