hi ya. on the 6spd box a la m3 evo. is 6th 1 to 1 ratio? or is it higher. i'm really loving the acceleration of my low geared racer as can do nearly everything i've come up against from a standstill to a ton. but need another gear. without the same top end as that would be well annoying. also what sort of money do they go for?

Dave my m30 was the same as that with the 3.91 diff, perfect gearing but just needed one more on top.

but i never needed to use 1st gear even when racing people off lights etc so i put a longer diff on and it's much better now. how many mph do you get in 1st and do you often use it? i guess i just have a bit more torque than you cos mine would be fine with a 45mph 1st gear (i used to have a 45mph 2nd with the 4.3 diff and it got great starts in that gear)

I am fairly sure that 6th isn't 1:1 on the M3 gearbox. I think 5th is 1:1 and 6th is 0.83:1.

Don't disregard the weight, they're fooking heavy. :(

Also, mega difficult to strip and no parts available. :(

A mate of mine sold one for Ԛ£850 recently. (Exported to USA.) I've seen them cheaper tho'.
