What's she like to drive or have you just gone for more brute power? lol. Is that running twin turbos?

Its been 10 months since your last post, has she been off the road much of the time?

Colour is spot on also.
Thanks for the nice comments. Its out of a supra 2JZ-GTE engine, Approx 3.1l single turbo garrett gt4094r and yep its been off the road for a while...

Tyres must have some serious grip for the prop to wind up like a spring as opposed to it locking up the rears. F*cking awesome!!!!!

g57yle wrote: well anything you can think of had to be custom made to fit. and i mean everything, from mounts to wiring, to moving brake cylinders, from power steering to diff, prop, gear stick placement, fueling, ecu, absolutely everything.

But this is what you get once all the hard work has paid off, well not really finished yet but very close

I hope my E30 gives inspiration to all the other E30 owners to not give up and what can be achieved with a bit of hard work and time.....and some more time..............and maybe some money and more time.......... LoL

:D
know what you are talking about, very nice build by the way!

i used the stock supra axle, much thicker and massive

Image

mine is still sort of stock, compared to your one hehe, i only swapped original JDM stock twins to US twins and a little bit more boost.

what M5 diff did u use by the way, e34?

I Like yours, it must be really nice to drive, with mine your constantly fighting for your life! what box are you running, looking at the prop looks like either a 5 speed or n/a auto box

What did you do with your brakes? Any more pics?

i'm running a r154 5spd from an mk3 turbo with a 1jz flywheel, i had brembo brake disk's (front and rear) with very soft brake pads, for normal driving its enough but not with 160km+, so i'm busy on making a new set with peugot 302mm disks and 740 brakes,

everyone can buy from 300mm.de but i want to make it myself.

i used a old 7series hydrolic booster, because there is just no space for a conventional brake booster

my winterproject, this one comes in an other e30, Lexus V8 1UZ-FE with 5spd manual!

little one, not a real cooler but it's doing fine.

there is no fluid spooling true the brake booster when you are not braking, and the fluid in the resevoir is also not spooling so you only cool the fluid that is flowing by for the steering rack.

so if you want to mount the cooler for your brake system it has no use

Wow these guys are pushing boundaries galore. Just the sitting down over a cuppa or three and working it all out is way beyond me. Just what did happen to British engineering if guys can knock this level of work up. OK the challenger 2 is the best battlefield engineering going but what about the rest of the country we don't even make moulded 3 pin plugs.
These cars have given me food for thought just wish my engineering and driving skills were up to it.

Fair play to ya guys :thumb:

Thanks, i installed it a few weeks back, although i had no space at the top so i installed thee splitter under the inlet manifold near the brake bias valve, now i have decided to install an udjustable bias valve, good luck to me getting it out! lol

Brakes feel a LOT more powerfull with the brembos and the hydraulic booster, only things are, with this setup it feels more spongy until the brakes touch the disks, a bit like the mclaren slr :( and the dangerous part is that even with abs i can lock up any of the wheels including the rear! a bit dangerous when your going fast! hence the adjustable valve ;)

think you need a bigger master brake cylinder for that spongy feeling, witch diameter are you running?

is your pressure "ball" new? these things are almost always broke. if in good shape you can go with turned off ignition still brake for like 10 times with boosted brakes, if not its broken

do you have "nr 16" installed? you have to use this one if you are running abs

Im running the master cylinder that came with it. 25mm so that should be fine, im pritty sure the brakes loose power the second the engine switches off. im pritty sure that 16 is installed.

25 should be good yes

im sure the Pressure accumulator has loose his power, you better get a new one

that also give strange pedal feeling because you don't have a buffer
