does anybody know if stainless lips are available to fit the style 5 wheels? i know you can get them for various bbs' and schmidt's etc but i'm under the impression the style 5 doesn't have a common lip with any other wheel? they are 8j and 9j 17's

Style 5s are two piece chap, the barrel and lip are the same piece and the centre separate. So no way of putting different dishes on.

ah right cheers mate i didn't realise that! my lips are painted silver at the mo so hugely practical from a daily driver point of view, but just lacking that sparkle that suits a bbs split wheel so well. I thought stainless lips would be a perfect compromise between bling and easy maintenance but no can do then!

In the traders section wolf can trim the barrel and used custom made seperate front lips for style 5s as far as I know he's the only person in the world that can, and it's definately not cheap!

No theres another bloke who does this, seen his work online. A chap in europe. He also does centre cap conversions.
Your right about it not being cheap though.
