Tempted by this - looks nice, don't like the wheels and come on - a 735 is economical

Owned a 728 early this year which apparently is the most economical out of the bunch and I struggled to get over 30mpg driving like a pensioner - it was crippling when filling up at the petrol station nearly hitting £100 8O

Anyway tired of my current turd so it may be mine :D

Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

18-20 mpg around the houses, mid 20s on a run. A nice one is a lovely car, a nasty one (that would be most of them) is a horrid way of toileting lots of money :(

As long as it is 87k and not 187k history and wear of vehical should be proof of this, at the present bid it is a bargan like the above "how much were these new?". But it looks shite sat on them wheels and makes you wonder the history of this vehical, i would make sure it is complete cash on collection.

They may be OE but did they come with the vehical or picked up from a breakers when someone thrashed the life out of it or just a bad mistake the first owner made, a good 87k vehical should still have it's factory wheels fitted.

What the hell are you going on about? If, and its very unlikely, that they are not the "vehical's" :D original wheels why would that mean the car has been thrashed?

Plenty of E38s have those, very nice IMO, wheels fitted.

18" Style 32s are pretty rare and valuable wheels. I've had £600 for a mint set. The ad says "factory fitted" too and these are perfectly acceptable on an E38 - far better than the standard flat ones. If it's all it says it is, that's a lot of car for the money - particularly if you flog the style 32s you don't like.

If you can get 30mpg out of a heffalump like an E38 with a slush matic gearbox, then i don't rekon thats too bad.
My 325i does late twenties to the gallon..... Go figure.
