325i Shadowline and 325i E30

Is there a major gear ratio difference between and standard 325i and Shadowline 325i.

You talking gearbox ratios? or diff ratios?

Do you mean between a standard 325i and a 325i sport?

The sport has a close ratio gearbox
1st 3.35
2nd 2.03
3rd 1.36
4th 1.00
5th 0.81

Standard 325i
1st 3.83
2nd 2.20
3rd 1.40
4th 1.00

there are differences between the diffs too i believe, but i don't know the figures for them.

Shadowline was an option on earlier BM's, where the chrome parts were replaced by black parts (e.g. window surrounds). This is the same today, where all SE models have the chrome, and the Sport models have black.

Therefore the only difference between a shadowline 325i and a normal 325i is a shadowline 325i has shadowline and a 325i doesn't!
