I know this is down to your own taste but what do people think is a good lowering height. I'm fitting 17 inch alpina and my e30 is on standard springs and height at the moment.
I don't want my car to look stupid as I've seen some e30 with the back wheels at a really weird angle ton the road.
I'm thinking 30mm drop
Cheers
Good lowering height

60mm might look sporty, but in reality it is anything but. Anything over 40mm, and the suspension angles are messed up to an extent that the handling and road holding is compromised.
Personally, I wouldn't go above 30mm.

No more than a 30mm drop for me, the handling is messed with and the ride is abysmal. in my opinion

I lowered mine by 60mm & went through 2 sets of rear wheel bearings in 6 months, changed it to 40mm, improved the handling & didn't look too silly either IMO.
