I am going to have a look at this next week with a view to buy,not at that price of course as it will be far from perfect i am sure.

Anybody been to see this sport or know it.
One of the pics that shows the interior there is a funny bit sticking out of the glove compartment and ideas also aeriel is in the wrong place i think..

one badge missing off bbs. The thing sticking out of the glovebox is so a bag can be hung, don't know for sure but when you meet the driver I would guess at a 50 something female who puts her handbag there.
See what you mean about the aerial, looks a lovely car.

Best of luck.

I have seen that car advertised though not in person. Got to say it looks lovely!

how much do you think it is worth? If the mileage is genuine and there is little rust i think it would be worth about £5000?

go in at 43 as the ad says 'circumstance forces sale.' winkeye

turn up with cash and you could get lucky, mention that its hard to get a new fog light, scratch your head over the aerial and most importantly take someone sceptical with you :thumb:

Looks good, go and take a look. You'll be able to tell in 5 minutes flat if it's been looked after well.

Buying the sport putting deposit down in the morning and collect on Saturday.
Just a few points.
The guy is a Trader, but hey.
The sport was bought from ebay by him how come you eagle eyed zoners missed it.
Could it have been skip and tarted up,i would like to think not.
All mots from day 1 but no service book or pack.
Little think that would make a good car great.
Why is the aeriel on the wrong side does anybody have an explantion for this.
The thing is i am happy with the car so what the hell thats all that matter i suppose.

Id try it for just over £4k, looks good and a nice millage but the gearbox and no history papers lets it down for me, yes its got the mots but you cant look through them and see what its had done over the years, shame realy. Nice to see tech1's fetching strong money these days, even though mine cost a fraction of this one winkeye

As long as its rust free your golden.

It will cost alot more than a couple of grand to sort out if rust has set in.

Plus you have the bonus of it being origonal

Guys i have seen more pics of the interior and i am sure instead of 47 thousand in more like 147 thousand and the whole missing service book does this sport no favours.
I am still going to have a look its a long way away but i am not expecting much

My E30 325iS Tech1 car says 160000 on the odometer though it may well be more because the previous owner i bought the car off only supplied me with MOTs and invoices for the car when he had owned it! :-(

I am pretty sure the mileage is higher than that for my car as it has had 11 previous owners before me!

However, the rust has all been sorted out and the interior is in great condition especially the seats. The seats may have been second hand fitted but they look great. The only problem in the interior atm is:
dashboard crack
interior lighting on the dashboard not all the buttons light up at night
interior fan does not work
check control panel needs glueing or something as i can actually pull it out of the socket with a gentle tug.

My point being seats should not be hard to replace.

Though it you want a great car E30 325iS i would hold out..unless you are happy. Best to get the best example you can get with as much history and best condition as you can get.

Might be worth trying WLN Automotive they get some good ones or Old Conel have some good ones.

Mine is in better nick than that with a manual box, fresh paint, black leather, and full history from new. I value mine at £4k or thereabouts.
Tread carefully at this money, you can afford to be picky. Its a lot of cash for an old car, and as EVERYONE on here will tell you, they can gobble money at an alarming rate.... Good luck

mine has been resprayed and the restoration was in a specialist publication..but those are the major bad bits the high owners, high mileage and lack of full service history (which i didnt fully look through till after i bought it :? )..still its needs a little work doing to it till i am totally happy but i just want something mechanically CAST IRON SOLID rather than a "garage queen" as such for a E30 325iS because i want to DRIVE it rather than stare at it in the garage all the time.

Though if you want a "garage queen" there is nothing wrong with that either.

how many miles yours done?

before i had a E30 i really liked the MTechnic II being the last-of-the-line etc but i got to admit having owned a MTechnic I since June 2010 i really like the lines, the spoiler, the MTechnic I bodykit.

Also i think it has less "plastic/glass fibre etc" than the MTechnic II though i think fundamentally they are the same except some cosmetic / interior specification changes.
