i no people have done the 4.0 v8 engine into an manual e30 but has anyone on here done it with the autobox.....

iirc willnz's V8 is an auto.

There are couple of auto conversions as well. It doesn't differ from the manual swap much, though as the 'box is so huge some additional work is needed in the tunnel.
Also the gearbox mount should be much stronger.

WillNZ and I have both used the Auto, Will be trying mine up the strip at Santa Pod on the Weekend.

dont know how to do links :o: i found them from the santa pod website in the bmw show section. there is at least 20 pics, frame by frame :cool:
