Hiya People, i'm new here, but i'm no stranger to the ford scene and turning my hand to tinkering with Sierra Cosworths.

I'm looking for a new project for over the winter months and need a bit of information about 2 door E30 shells. Any information would be GREATLY recieved

the following information is what i'm looking for :)

the dimensions (in mm or inches, i can work in either) for the following point to points please

Wheel base
rear wheel track (from hub to hub)
front wheel track (from hub to hub)
engine bay length (from bulkhead to slam panel)
engine bay width (from turret top to turret top)
distance between the front chassis legs
engine bay height

and also does an automatic variant shell have a wider transmission tunnel than its manual equivelant?

Cheers people

Hi Paul, I'm not sure about the dimensions but I'm 100 % certain that the manual and automatic shells have the same width tunnels.

Cheers,

Wheelbase: 2570mm (101.2 in)
Rear track: 1415mm (55.7 in)
Front track: 1407mm (55.4 in)

Those are for the 316, 318, 320, and 323 in 1985. The M3 are different I think. The tracks are for wheels with a 35 offset too, different offsets would change the track.

I'll see if I can measure the rest later.
