The springs are the secret ones Dan.
Dont worry ours wont be squashed like that. (i hope)

It will have to be the red ones for pod on sunday then :o:

Springs are going on in a second once we have finished bolting the exhaust up.

The brakes are going to get bled next so the wheels will be of and we can drop the shock and wip them nasty springs out.

Glad we arnt busy today :D

I am very lucky, the shell is mint.

There is a few bits of body work to sort after its up and running.

All the running gear has been powdercoated or is new

I wanted to powder coat my subframes etc after I steam-cleaned them but I knew if I did it was a long dark spiral and I'd want to powdercoating EVERYTHING. Would have been 5 years before the car was back on the road. Proud of my self-restraint!

Must be great to not be thinking about what shite to sort next eh and just use it now.

What kind of prices did you pay for the powdercoating?

Defo looks good 8)

Not sure what the prices would be to joe public tbh. Mine was done as a favour for a favour.

Its about £45 a wheel up her if you walk in off the street so its going to be a few quid for all the bits i got done :D

The powdercoated bits on mine are

Front struts
front subframe
Rear beam
rear trailing arms (not done yet)

Everything else was new and painted in tough black to keep them mint for as lomg as poss

Right everything is now done. Need to bleed the coolant and the powersteering. The issue there is it needs to fire :x

I have primed the fuel by bridging the relay and it sounded like there was air but still nothing on the key

It sounds fine turning over on the starter so that has calmed me down :D

I might try swapping crank and cam sensors again tomorrow.

Anything else to try yoda?
