tweeter connections

quick one the oem tweeters that fit behind the door mirrors are they wired in to the multi plug that leads from the door to the body the same one that carrys the central locking wires etc if so what pins are used thanks in advance

OEM tweeters are wired through the door pillar plug and socket, and are fitted to all E30's whether or not the tweeters are. I've no idea which pins they go through, but the wires on the car body side end up near the speakers in the footwells, They end in two individual connectors - a spade terminal and a round blue plug, IIRC.
The wires plug onto the matching footwell speakers, which have the cross over networks built into them.
