Does anyone have Dealer Number plates on there E30?
If so, can you do me a HUGE favour and send me a picture of what they look like, obviously edit out your reg... Just after the surrounding... Trying to get some made up...
Did try using dealerplates.co.uk... Sent him £25 like requested for them, then he said it wasnt enough as I sent it as a payment and not gifted and asked for more... I asked for my money back instead due to principle...
Any help would be great!

Lol... I sent him £25... He wanted me to pay for his charges for using paypal as a payment method... Due to principle, I declined, should advertise it properly...bss325i wrote:I got some L&C Croydon ones made up by that dealer plates guy but i sent him the correct money.

As for the cooper plates... My mate has the original plates on his 323i... But I dont think they are what mine are suppose to look like...
My car was from Williams Liverpool.

If you are going to pay by paypal then you need to ad the charges on to unless you pay as a gift.Jim320i wrote:.... I sent him £25... The product is £25 not £23.50 or whatever the difference is with the charges.
For example, i sold something on here and someone payed me by paypal and i receive the payment less the charges.
I told the buyer to send me the remaining difference. It was only a couple of quid but its the priciple!

Also just recently got some replica dealer plates from this chap - very pleased with the result, they really finish the car off.
I thought he was quite clear about the costs. Just pay him the extra couple of quid....it'll be worth it.
Unlike Alex I went without the black surround - I think its personal preference, the guy did mock up plates both with and without surround to help me decide.

I found my original plates with Wood of Bournemouth and the BMW roundal at the bottom, oddly enough there is no phone number on it though. I'm going to get a set made up, although I really do like my pressed aluminium ones which incidentally are fully UK legal ones from Craigplates. I can't understand all this crap surrounding german style plates, it's a UK supplied car so it should have UK plates.

Well I ended up getting some made up on saturday, they didnt have the right font... New font only... So I had some in that with a surround and Williams Liverpool with the phone number and bmw badge at the bottom... Tidied it up alot, but still not what I wanted. Paid £29.95 too!
Then they had pressed plates at Santa Pod which I would have loved, but didnt really want to be spending 60 quid on plates in 1 weekend...
I will get a picture of them on here maybe at the weekend, some of you may have seen them at the show... Someone you may have seen they arent original but didnt say anything. lol
