I just read this and loads of points come to mind (other than the obvious fact you lot have a screw loose! :hammer: )

- I need a 16" Alpina to play with/use as a reference so bad it's not funny! (...someone MUST have a bent one I can compulsory-purchase for the common good!!!!?)

- I'm told the 298.5x24 WMS kit JUST fits in the 16" Alpina when a 6.0mm spacer is fitted. This has not been tried on a car yet though as I'm told it's TIGHT!

- 300mm ish in 16" is normally a good bet. In fact I fitted 323x32mm rotors and the bigger WMS T35 caliper inside a 16" Compomotive for a TVR racer....was too tight to be sensible though (the caliper was slicing little curls of paint off the wheel!).

- A 298.5x20.5 rotor+alloy bell WMS kit would be a better fit under the Alpina than the 298.5x24 kit by 3.5mm (due to the thinner disc moving the outer caliper-half inboard) plus another few mm as alloy bells are normally thicker than cast iron disc "bells" as a safety margin.

- The Wilwood bells+rotors kit also effectively has "built in wheel spacers" and will change the offset plus require longer wheel bolts to be 100% safe...PLUS the 5mm spacer mentioned.

- soooooooo.....dibs the next 16" Alpina someone bends! £5 do it? winkeye

winkeye I'm sure! But then again, staggered ones are a bit rarer? Or are the rears wider and the fronts the "normal" width 16" Alpina? :?:
