In my experience, the best sized wheels are 16". Hartge and Alpina didn't fit anything bigger when they tuned E30s. I noticed a real difference moving from 15" to 16".

DO NOT PUT 17" wheels on, they don't work too well in my experience.

I got 17s on my car no problems or issues and its lowered 60mm and they are staggard too. the teledials depends on what width they are and et looking at a few on ebay i dont think they will go on because the et is too low to run adaptors. they would stick out if you tried them on. If they et was higher around 40 it would be better.
