Hi all. aint been on here in ages really. bought a tech two 2.5 sport ages ago, found it had rot I didnt see and when ticket ran out sat it in the workshop where its been ever since.

But on the plus side I will sort it one day and on an even better than that side I just bought a very solid 318is in sterling silver for a very good price. Have driven it for a couple of days now and seems to be an honest motor, pulls really well and is a pleasure to drive. Have been driving my work transit since october and it was really startin to mess with my sanity so having a daily driver that isnt the size of bus is luvverly.

Shes lowered 40mm on pretty new shocks n springs, has had a lot of new parts and very subtle mods i.e. blacked indicators and black kidney grill.

Once I finally start restoring the 2.5 i'll let u all know. If anyone knows the 1.8is then let me know, hopefuly with good news. It was from western super mare if that helps.

much better mpg than the 2.5. a world apart but nearly just as much fun. :D

funnily enough I just saw one almost identicle in the sale section same colour with black kidney grill but more money. bloody nice cars tho.

apparently mine used to be owned by joan collins' daughter. celebrity status ha ha! :D :D

joan collins daughter - with all that money choosing a lowly iS? I don't blame her one bit - easily as much 'fun' as the 325, just a slightly lower adrenaline kick :)

how much? mmm, lets just say it was under a grand but does have couple o small dents in bonnet and a rusty split that needs patching on lower rear o/s corner. other than that shes pretty straight.

I would recommend the slightly lower stance. I dont like slammed vehicles for ride quality but 40mm is all good. feels very secure on the road but that may also be helped by all new bushes.
