Any recomendations would be appreciated, it's a track car, but is driven to and from circuits.

Thanks

I've only had experience with Wilwood's own pad on track but the car hauls up pretty well, got no complaints. I've just bought some EBC yellow stuff pads for it which I'm hoping to test out very soon at the next track day so will let you know!

I have wilwood's newly developed pads in the front of my car with 4 pots.

Rally design supplied them (they're the sole official uk importer of wilwoodstuff so best to use them!) after them coming out early this year.

I've done 15 laps of the ring on them and they are truly awesome.

I use wilwoods own and they're great apart form the squealing, keri-WMS recommended trying redstuff to reduce the squeak! midlite - 280mm solid G60 discs

I use EBC yellows which work pretty well. I tried Ferodo DS2500s which worked quite nicely but only lasted one and a half trackdays.

Thanks guys - I'm not actually sure which model calipers I've got yet - bought the car with them on.

I certainly know what you mean about the squeaking!! I've heard similar feedback about the DS2500's and the DS3000's are a bit pricey for what I want to be paying.

Cheers again.

Big brakes with racing in mind always sqeuak. You wanna here the farrari's and porsches when they're just normal driving, let alone after a track day, they squeal like a banshee lol.

I've used the wilwood poly 'A' pad and although they work well I'd never use them again.

Very agressive dust which eats into the wheel powder coating. Later found they destroyed the front discs very quickly through wear. the dust was probably hot metal from the discs :-x

Now gone back to EBC yellows with a new set of discs.

Mintex M1144 or 55 .work well

you can use a couple of anti rattle shims with Vauxhall nova pads in some of the wilwood calipers as well

Also just to confirm - will 15 inch bbs wheels clear a 280 disc and 4 pot caliper?

They fit nicely in 15inch wheels it's the offset you need to worry about. The caliper sits VERY close to the inside face of the BBS's. I put some 5mm spacers in to give them a little bit of breathing space.

Any pics of the car winkeye ?

Thanks rix, there's already a spacer up front, but I think the current wheels are ET30. I'll take some pictures over the weekend.

Hopefully picking up some black BBS's next week.

I'm picking up some 15 inch BBS's next week, then will raise the suspension slightly and hopefully get a cage in there.
