To be honest mate, it's not too bad. Pulling the blind up gives a good idea of where it is, but you can feel where there are 2 recesses in the shell by pushing on the headlining. I recall it is the outermost recess on each side, but we've got my car to check as a reference.

Right the Chromie was ment to get a good sorting today but with the wife being minging all day and not being fit to be left in charge of our 2 year old, and Lee's Chromie brakes playing up it never happened.
The finishing off list is:-
Fit fan, rad and wire the loom. Thanks for the fan Lee
Fit waterpipes
Finish the last of the engine loom wiring off
Fit inlet manifold, throttle body, airbox, maf and throttle cable
Swap to 2.8 injectors
Wire in the lamda
Finish welding the manifolds (that i will do this week at work)
Finish bolting the prop up
Swap E34 engine mounts for my 635 ones
Check the gear selector is finished
Bleed brakes & clutch
Fill gearbox oil
Sort a custom powersteering pipe.
Fit 6 pot code pin to clocks
Secure ecu & fit pannel under clocks
Fit battery tray and batetry into boot
Re fit Jimmy hill and undertray and gearbox sheild
Fit M3 battery cover and M40 loom cover
Fit rear M3 14.5mm ARB
Finish the exhaust system (make it fit downpipes)
Fit my 16" ronals
Fit dogging blind clips
Wire in my becker radio
Run it in and get it Mapped
Not that bad. Easy get most of that done this week and sunday i reckon
Might make pod yet

ive got a check pattern rear bench, hoping to do a deal with kieran for the SR`s he had in is on a loan type basis, he cant fit in em as he`s kinda tall so i want to borrow them on the provision that i make him some frames to mount em lower down.
No longer self employed but still available for welding duties.

As daft as it sounds, once you have a list, the jobs just seem to get done in no time. I'm terrible for a scatterbrain approach to this stuff, start a job, need to get a tool from the garage, get distracted by something else and start destroying something else
