headlight switch panel refitting

New to the forum. I have just bought an E30 318i Lux touring Auto (registered March 94) and just working through a few minor things. The light switch panel is coming away from the dash, not helped by pulling the button to turn the lights on and off. Is there an easy way to take this out as am reluctant to get too overeagre with a screwdriver. Any tips gratefully welcome (sorry post is a bit dull!)
