Clearing up the house for selling and found some old British Touring Car vids from 1988 - 90. Was great to watch the M3s driven by Frank Sytner, Mike Smith

etc.... with Murray Walker doing the commentry.
Who else remembers watching them at the time or going to the races or am I just an old git
Rich.

I was 17 in '88. Just got my first car, Escort Mk II 1.3, at least it was RWD.
Loved cars then, but wasn't into watching them go round the track. I spent my time welding, spraying, drinking, and oggling the ladieeeeeeeees

i was only 2 in 88
however, i have a few murray walker videos in the cupboard..........they have quite a bit of his touring car moments on, with the e30 m3's, rs500's and what have you....very good. even the listerine e36's looked ok in tourning car trim, still would prefer the rs500 or e30 though

I never knew that they used to race the M3s with the cossies!!
Only a few months ago my mate showed me a clip of them racing!!
How awsome did the M3s look and sound going round the track!!
