Wheel size, 15 or 16.

Can't really decide if I'll go with 15x8 or 16x8 wheels for my drift & track car.

Wheels are XXR 002s in either gun-metal or black (haven't decided on the colour either )


Thing is 16s will give better grip but tyres are alot cheaper in 15"s so if it goes to it I could even use T1rs on the back for drifting whereas they could be too expensive in 16"
Will be R888s on the front for drifting and all round for track days regardless of size however.

Just wondering would I really need 16s for an S54 and also makes getting bigger brakes easier

i have 16inch wheels on my sport for drifting instead of wrecking my azevs i do like the way the car seems to get the power down with the 16's. i would love to try a set of 15's to see what there like.

A Sport with only 170bhp and all the interior, full kit and everything else would be alot different to one with 340+ and a few hundred kgs lighter though
