Craig... tell you what, is there any chance you could either e-mail me some decent hi-res pics you've got of E30's to 'giles(at)gr-media.com' and I can put together an example or two of a calendar / desktop image for November 2005 or something... just as a taster

I like this idea very much but i have noticed that it just seem's to be M3's and Sport's. Maybe no-one want's a picture of a zoner's 318i but it would only be the fact it's a 318i not that it might look good. Someone said that they would like to see their car on the calender but this won't happen with a vote choosing Sport's and M3's, very nice car's i think there should be a calender of meet's not just Zoner's Sport's.
For example.........
A few zoner's at a day on the roller's

Parked and ready for the roller's

One of the Drift King's, aka Davetouring

Old Skool badboyz in service's for Gaydon

Cheers,
Jon

I think that there should be a broad spectrum of E30s. I have always expressed that there shouldn't be any modelisms. I think that each model should be displayed from the 316 up to the M3, including convertibles and tourers too. Just because a car has been given a bigger engine does not mean that it should be included in the calendar. It needs to look good too. After all it is all to do with visual rather than performance.
I also think that the highly modded E30 should be included too, which would mean that Bootyman's prize possession is in the list.

Okay... for a first attempt at creating an E30Zone calendar, I would like to submit the following for October at different screen resolutions:
Please bear in mind that a desktop calendar is different to a normal calendar!

As you can see, I've had to do very little to the images as Craig's photography skills are bloody good!
If we can get images of E30's that are this good all the time, then I think we'll have a great collection of desktop images. We could release them without the calendar bits after the month is out...
What do you all think?
Giles.

Cheers Craig... I had to extend the sky upwards a little as it wasn't quite tall enough, so had to add an 'effect' to mask it as I couldn;t quite get it to look correct... but like I said, it looks really good because of the excellent material I had to start off with.
Turned out okay though... it's on my desktop right now!

if we have a definate line up of the cars that are going to be used then we need to arange a photoshoot for those cars if craig hasnt all ready got some decent pics of them.
another thing is this going to be a printed calander as well or just pc based?

I wouldn't mind seeing the 'un' photoshopped image... hang on, I'll see if I can get a hi-res image from Craig, along with a few other pics of the Motorsport meet and put a design together for the following month...

Yeah, I'm fine. Under a lot of pressure at the moment... I think the straps are too tight.
Busy busy busy as usual. Got 3 jobs on the go ATM... interview for a 4th on Friday... a support teacher for Technology... see how it goes. Short term thing to bring money in while the software development takes off... won;t be long now and I'll have a decent E30 back again...
