Can anyone recommend a product / way of bring black interior plastics (eg. seat recline handle) back to black? They've faded and no amount of cleaning has restored them.

Have a look a g|techniq c4 trim restorer not cheap but it works and lasts.

Autoglym is not a dye. Has some kind of silicone type concoction that seeps into the plastic to kind of moisten it. Bit difficult to describe, but works a treat :)
Its handy for loads of stuff and lasts for ages.

most thnings silicone based do this as its got a active ingrediuent mots are low modulos which doesnt last .i used to use a silcone spray for my ban saw from work worked better than any back to black treater i tried and lasted longer ....hope this helps too
