well where to start i built the engine myselffrom scratch i started off with a few engines as spares a 525eta, 325i we were going to use the 325 block the eta crank conrods however even though the eta's block and 325 have different part numbers the blocks are the same so we decided to use the eta block the eta conrods i bought a new set of 2.5 pistons and had a spare head ported and polished a new set of valves camshaft (shrick 284/272cam kit springs) all of the seals gasgets are new as wel of course oil pump water pump replaces the block was blasted out cleaned the bores were cleadned and cross sanded to help bed in the engine sonic blasted injectors were fitted i spared no cost building this engine and when i get the pics up you will agree that it looks the part and would look good in any art studio
...........the engine also has the zone bbtb (worth the cash) and i also have the zonechip (not fitted till the engine bedded in) the night of the first start up was last monday after spending all day reconecting all the plumbing first i ran the engine up to oil pressure first without the fuel pump conected and then i conected the fuel pump the time was here i conected it and turned the key i was feeling really stressed now and then it started fired up in the first turn and it was sooooooooooooo loud
..............ace........

my mate got all of the engine parts head kit sump gaskets pistons the looked the same as the ones i took off the 325 two offset dents for the valves and slightly domed one one side the head was done by agra (engine tuning) i think all in all its cost me about Ԛ£1500/Ԛ£2000 but it is totally worth it...........j
