Well my 320 cab has suddenly started pissing oil :(

If its parked on a slope its really bad you can see it dripping where the gearbox/engine bolt together, can't tell if it just collecting there and dripping or is actually leaking from there? could the flywheel seal have gone? and the oil gathering in the bell housing and then pissing out whilst on a slope?

Its gone from not dropping any oil to pissing out oil in about 2 weeks so its quite sudden, any ideas of how much its going to cost me to get sorted if its the flywheel seal and can anyone recommend anywhere in the West Mids?

Thanks in advance.

Is it engine oil or gearbox oil??

It sounds to me like your rear crank seal has gone.

If its the crank seal then i think you only need to take the gearbox out, so you are looking for a price for a clutch change + for the oil seal.

it could be the sump gasket as it could look like its coming from the crank and they do suffer with this problem, cos when i thought it was my crank seal it turned out to be the sump gasket

As andyp said..Check the sump gasket before doing crank seals.Happened on mine and was sorted with a bit of gasket sealant.
