Power steering

Hi all,

Anybody NOT running power steering on their track cars with E36 racks?
If so, how's it going?

I run a non pas E30 rack which works well on track, could do with being a bit quicker lock to lock to be honest but I think that there is a group buy happening?

Just thought about it, think im gona stick with the standard rack. Goin for a 6 branch manifold and just read that only the £1000 BTB one fits with E36 rack??

I ran my E30 PAS rack with the pump disconnected (forgot the belt ) and it was fine (even with the extra turn over the E36 rack). Had no problems and there were some hard slow corners.

Is it the PAS bolts and pipes that stop you being able to fit a 6 branch manifold?

Because if it is then i wont have a problem fitting an E36 rack
