Went to another airfield day run by motorsport events, was only 120 all day open pit and the have a separate handling circuit. Had a play with front arb to try and sort out understeer, but still no joy, and the toyo t1r's took a pasting and are all puckered up! Didn't get to try out the Yokohama track tyres as my electric fan gave up the ghost and coolant boiled over, doh. Were a couple of e30's there, a rather nicewhite m3 all caged up etc.

Haven't tried Hullavington yet. Colerne was ok but not sure what all the fuss was about people really rave about it. That said I'm booking one for the 14th of August because it's the next Saturday event I can make if any one alse is up for it?

Maybe I'm just expecting too much out of my e30 and should just go slower into the corners. But on the handling circuit, when going faster and faster on the roundabout it just understeers loads, then goes really wide, so a big stab of throttle gets the back round. Maybe I just need a pot more practice and even lessons at this oversteer lark. I just end up spinning everytime

Can't say it bothers me.agent006 wrote:MSE days may be cheap but you don't get that much running. Not out on track till 10 then it's sessioned till 11. Most places are well underway by 9am on an open pitlane day.
