BREAKING TOP GEAR/E30 NEWS!!!!

At some point in the next series of Top Gear the is going to be a feature where all three of the presenters have an E30 325i Cabrio!

I dont know what kind of feature its going to be but most likely some kind of cheap car challenge as apparently all three examples they had were a bit ropey! (Clarkson's one apparently had concrete in the boot to "lower" it!)

Filming has already taken place.

I'm looking forward to that so thanks for the heads-up. I bet they are going to use it as another excuse to slag off the BMW 3 series as being a predictable boring choice of car and that E30s are mostly old turds now. Still looking forward to it though

If you take Top gear for what it is now, a show with three blokes clowning about mixed in with some car stuff, its Ace!

Better than alot of the other shite thats on the box!

topgear is awsome , the 3 ov them are madeads lol. lookin forward to that episode tho jus hope they dont rip tha legend that is tha e30 to bitz. gotta say tho 5th gear is better as far as testin cars, with tiff n plato they tend to go into more detail about wot they are drivin ect but you hav to love tha cheap car challenges on topgear

Top Gear is hilarious.
Take it with a pinch of salt as pure entertainment, and you can't go wrong. Perhaps it'll be a tribute to E30's similar to the one they did for Lancia!

Just for the record thetre are plenty of good car shows out there if you trawl through the channels.

Top Gear is just a show with a balding angry old numpty, a shorter numpty thats allways looking for acceptance from the taller one, and a longer haired one who knows a thing or two about mechanical principles but is ridiculled as who would want knowledge or wisdom?
Alas it seems the producers interests are to mock knowledge, dumb down on what is essentially a very complex but easy to opperate piece machinery, and air as many rediculous sound bites as possible, most of which have no fact or reason.

The program has now become their own play thing, with the ability to say whatever rubbish they like and alot of people BELIEVE them, go wherever in the world and mock the locals for not having the latest Ferrari/expensive play thing.

I spent 35mins waiting at a set of lights North of Tower Bridge around 8.30am ON A WEEK DAY. The police holding up all the traffic around that area and no doubt had a knock-on effect heading back along the embankment to the West, Aldgate to the North etc.
The reason for this? so they could drive over the bridge in a tank.


How many motorists were inconvenienced?

Is this a form of Irony I don't get.


And as for their disreguard for the Highway Code....

Yes most of us can think for ourselves but what about the 18 y.o's and their corsa's? Bet they think its OK to drive 3 abrest along a road blocking other road users.

Our license money goes on this, just think what could be done with that money.

For me it's 5th Gear (is this being dropped?) and Wheeler Dealers but only for Sir Spanner King, Ed China. I think he's signed to the BBC now I just hope he's given his own show. Just keep Clarkson and his stupid comments away from someone who can enspire and motivate us.

A former coleague now works for Munich Ledgends and they were approached by the shows producers to give advice and tech support. The owner, manager and one of the technicians went up to Guildford where the TG airfield is and were there for the day. They will be going back for the audience/studio filming when the next series is shot.
