am looking to have the clutch changed (master/slave) and was wondering how long it would take.
cant decide whether it'd be much cheaper to buy the parts and pay someone to do it for me, or to take it to a local garage?
any suggestions?

if you just mean the hydraulic parts, approx 1.5 hours max inc bleeding.
if you mean the friction plate and cover( the mechanical sections ) then approx 3 hours in and out on M40/20/42

i think i mean master/slave. one of them is leaking fluid so someone on the zone suggested it would be one of them.
is it best to do the friction plate/cover too? am short of funds so looking for most cost efficient way of doing this!
