Some of you might of read my post from last night about another zoner.. This is a apology to him as requested.
Sam325is
It seams I have jumped the gun and I was premature in writing that previous post about our dealings..
I was frustrated and wrong in doing so. I never meant to harm your good name and reputation, for this I am truly regretful and my humblest apology is reserved to you..
I in no way meant to harm **** reputation and I believe him to be a upstanding person who goes by his word. I take back anything negative I have ever said about him. I was wrong in doing so..
*** took time out of his holiday that he had worked hard for to try and fix this for me, he did this as favour to me and made very little if any profit and I think in hind sight i was a bit harsh about him, also im sorry for mentioning his name! giving out his email address publicly.
*** kept in contact with me on many occasions never a week went by without a update, Sam even gave me his mobile number so we could talk on the phone.
Once again my sincerest apology goes out to *** I should of waited a little longer, I took my frustration out on him and that was wrong.

Good on ya fellas.
Alas our frustrations manafest in a multitude of sins, but to sort it all out takes real men.

Dear Zoners and Mike aka m_jermyn
- How it is.
After my beloved 325i sport was written off I bought it back and broke it. During this time I was busy with work (as we all are) and breaking the car. Whlst breaking the car I built on my already sound reputation I have with this community. With breaking a car you get one or two hick-up when selling the parts as we all will know, however I have always done my best with the time given to fix things with people. I’m not a full time breaker after all.
Anyway after a sad time breaking my car I had ALOT of spares stored away. Now mike paid me for some of these and they were to be sent to Australia within the coming months once I had the time to get them gathered tested etc (Mike has explained).
I sent his parts and went on holiday and all sorts of **** hit the fan during that time.
However during that time! I made numerous special efforts to have people re-send his package, I would go to internet cafes or where ever to keep him informed, I got a mobile number so he could call me. Mike never went long without being in some sort of contact. I sold him the parts for very little and was doing it just to help out really. Now since getting back to the UK I have been very busy as you would expect from someone who has been away for 6 months and tonight I checked my email (after not speaking to mike for a matter of days) and I find some rather abrupt emails. Anyway me and mike had a chat and got to know where this situation was up to.
However before I went to bed I thought I would just check on the zone if he had written anything seeing as his emails were what I saw as unreasonable..... And there it was a thread about me titling my full name and that I was a rip off merchant complete with email address in the posts. (A thank you to Oldroyds for sticking up for me)
Now during the time this deal went sour I offered Mike refunds on numerous occasions and I’m sure he won’t deny it. I told him he was welcome to a refund at any time 'all you have to do is ask mike' I said on many occasions.
I’m not a thief, a rip off merchant, a crook, con man or whatever else I have been portrayed as. I’m just a guy who a deal didn’t go totally smooth for and has a life outside the zone as we all do.
I have seen many threads over the years of people being ripped off and the person who ripped them off deserved the abuse and everything else thats said. That thread about me was the same in nature but the once big difference is that I DID NOT deserve it after the efforts I made.
Mike will have his parts or a refund.
THE END

Sam,
As you will apprieciate,we do seem to be having a bit of a problem at the moment with zoners taking cash from our overseas friends and then just not bothering to send the goods out, perhaps if Mike was to indicate if he prefers a re-fund or for you to have another bash at sending the goods?

I bought a car from ******is (
) some months ago and have to say that it was exactly as he described in his advert and he did me a good deal for a quick purchase.
It had a few problems and needed some cash spending to get it right, but ******is told me about most and one he wouldn't have known about until you pulled the head off! Still, at the price I paid and the overall quality of the vehicle, I am still glad I bought it and would happily deal with him again.
I was shocked when I saw the posting by Mike and agree with Daimlerman that there appears to have been a few issues lately with overseas deliveries taking place and am glad that this appears to be settlted albeit subject to delivery or refund.
I have also sold a few parts to people in the USA and admit that your nerves jangle a bit as the cheaper options for delivery often do not include tracking of the parcel, it can also come as a bit of a shock at the actual cost of sending if you haven't done your research before agreeing a price!
Selling parts abroad will always be a lot more difficult than managing UK based sales, but we see a few wobblers even here from time to time.
Best thing is to keep the communication up and do what you both agree is going to be done at the timescales that are acceptable to both and all should be well.

Also the e30 zone takes no reponsibility for tradings made through the site.. so who gives a toss other than the parties involved?
- No one.
Bollocks to this 24v scrap!
Maybe mike should specify if he would like a refund??? If people read my post in full they would realise that I have offered him one numerous times! I have told him if at any point he feels like enough is enough all he has to do is say ' I want my money back'. To those of you who think I'm taking the 'pee pee' they should step back and look at the effort I have gone to for NO PROFIT. I kept mike informed to no end and spent time on my holiday to keep trying to fix things! I can assure everyone on here that I am just as sick of this as mike is. So I'd appreciate it if people poked their noses out. This is between me and mike.... Not me mike and the e30 zone! Mike will get his parts or the money and that's all anyone on here needs to know. I'm not a con man so I'm not keeping anyone other than mike updated on the situation surrounding this!
And Daimler some scum bags may have ripped people off and it may be a problem. I however am not part of that problem. I'm a well known honest member and have been on this forum just as long as you. I'm not some 2 post newbie so there is no need to scrutinise my dealings. I appreciate your just trying to do good but there is no need on this occasion. Thanks

Sam, we who have "dissed" you would like to offer up an apology, BUT that is entirely up to you mate.
You need to close this off by informing the site that you have either refunded Mike his money, or you have sent him a shipping invoice confirmation of the parts as requested.
I think all of us would like to get this off the zone and reconciled happily for both parties, but the ball is firmly in your court.
Com'on Sam, get it done mate
