I for one wouldn't even entertain the idea of turning up to a big show like that in a beaten up old shed. As far as i'm concerned, my car reflects on me, so i want it to be the best it can be.
I'm stunned that people would want to display their cars with bits hanging off, and rust on the bodywork etc.
I'm not keen on "official" car clubs, as per my post above, but i hadn't realised that people had taken the piss in previous years.
Perhaps this year will be different. I'll certainly be busy with the wax and tyre dressing before putting my car before the public gaze.

If there is anyone missed off that list I need to know by tomorrow when I finish work, 5pm, as ordering tickets and confirming final numbers will be done Wednesday in the am. Also need to know how many peeps are coming with each car. Tickets are £8 and when sent out will be sent with map, display pass etc.

Remember if you fancy camping check this thread for the details, no need to prebook just turn up if you fancy it, an area has been put aside for us at the campsite but last time there was a good mix of cars on the way to the show that were there also, just say your with the zone .

Do we need to arrive proper early to get in to the zone section? Because if it's a reasonable hour, I'd be up for showing off the brown 'un.

Sorry bout the slow answer, turning up at a reasonable hour before midday is fine so long as everyone doesnt do it, BMWCC members were still parking up at that time due to traffic but the show gates open to the public at 10 i believe so would prefer to be in by then.

I'm out purely because of what has been said on this thread, my car is my daily and it's not perfect, it's far from perfect IMHO my car is built for speed and handling not drop dead looks one day I'll have a car that does both

sod what has been said, just go and enjoy an excellent day. who cares what other people think? i can't believe people are backing out because they feel that there car "isn't good enough". these cars are a quarter of a century old or thereabouts now fgs, most of us have all got "work in progress" cars.
why not just park in the public car park like most people are going to do?
