Some pictures of the car, remember the wheels have been taken of and is apparently sitting on 15" bbs wheels.

Some tell tale signs of my car under the engine bay, mat black rocker cover and inlet manifold, also the mat black strut brace.

The roof has two small grazes on either side, just above the rear wheels.

Take a note of the passenger seat, the fabric has been replaced and i still needed to get the front part stitched onto the middle part, another tell tale sign. Also note the tech 2 steering wheel is a more mat grey color rather than a typical shiney black.
Please please keep an eye out guys, i am 100% sure this car will be spotted soon.
Many thanks

just to let everyone know i will be cleasing this thread up soon of all the vigilanty type comments so we can focus on the main issue ..the car is stolen and if its offered for sale then please contact myself or goldy.
If the OP chooses not to pursue the car even if he knows where it is then this is his buisiness, and i am sure he appriciates all the votes of confidence.
So make youn last comments on this issue now as i will delete all but the relevent info after the weekend.

This is really bad. Robbing someone elses car?
I would love to see the look on their faces if they bought a decent car which was then robbed. Well, that face or the face when they realise your gonna beat the shit out of them.
Or the face when you've beaten the shit out of them, and the cops turn up!
Hope you get your car back fella. Looks very mint and I really hope that it stays in the right hands as those fookers dont deserve to own a car like that!
Get your ass into gear and just grab some good-will zoners to go to this mates of a mates of a mates house and beat the info out of him. Check what he said was right, then get the pigs involved!

Problem is, if I bought a car and 6 months etc down the line someone got in my face and said it's their car and was stolen I wouldn't give it back just like that, neither would I expected to.
Also, if you claim for insurance should you also have a right to the car anymore?
This is why you have to kick ass to get this car back.
Have you spoken to this mate yet?
I can't sleep!

Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent.
Yes it can work, but sometimes its not as simple as that. There are things more important than ANY of our cars.
Maybe that makes me a bit weird but if it was between a complex amalgmation of materials or my sister or loved one, its no choice.

I just don't get this.
You say this car meant the world to you, but was it not for sale recently?
You know someone who knows someone who knows where your car is? Another Zoner *appears* to have some info too.
Why don't you have your car back? And if you haven't got it back, why are these two people not either in jail or hospital?
What are the Police doing? When my trailer was stolen. They asked me if I knew who took it. My response was along the lines of, "I thought that was what you investigated?". Did they ask you if you knew anything? If so, what did you say?
What are your insurers saying?

Wrong. If the car is proved to be stolen, it no longer belongs to you, despite you spending your money and having a receipt etc,Royalratch wrote:Problem is, if I bought a car and 6 months etc down the line someone got in my face and said it's their car and was stolen I wouldn't give it back just like that, neither would I expected to.
The car will be returned to the owner - or the insurance company if they've already paid out on it... by law.
Currently slumming it in an E46 Touring

Goldysingh you are astounding.
The amount of leads and evidence in this thread alone is enough to get this car back, your brother is a Policeman and you know people who know where the car is.
I'm lost for words.
Do you even want the car back?

To be totaly honest I would remove people from their beds then build and expand on methods employed in Guantanamo Bay.
But thats because I have no family.
Fighting fire with fire may mean they do the same in return, then it gets silly and they know where you live. Not to have delt with them already must mean that they arn't to be taken lightly and how many people would you kill to make sure your family and car are safe. Because they is people out there, that it would take their death to stop them.
or we are not getting the full story.
End of the day its his choice.

As said above, fighting fire with fire is not always an option. I personally, wouldnt go there with a bunch of people demanding my car back, and probably would think twice about going there with the police.... At the end of the day, i would be to worried about things happening to my family.

Ouch.
Something missing here for sure.
@magpie - my 'mates; mates, mates' wouldn't nick my car. Not least because they are actual friends but also because they see my car as scrap lol.

There is obviously more to this than has actually been posted on here!
At the end of the day, it's the OP's choice. Hope you get a satisfactory resolution chief.

Not if the OP is - and I want to make it clear that I am not suggesting that he is, but it certainly see how it could look that way - in some way involved in the car's disappearance and using the zone as a bit of a smokescreen.CaesarBob wrote:

The car "means the world" to him. He wants us all to be vigilant and keep our eyes open for it or bits of it, yet he knows where it is or if not exactly where it is, who can find it, himself?! And his brother is a cop! Doesn't add up to me.
I certainly don't advocate vigilante action or violence, but I can't believe that there's nothing that could be done to ensure its recovery.
Apologies to the OP if that all sounds a bit harsh and accusatory, but I'll bet that if your insurance loss adjuster reads this thread, your cheque will be stopped forthwith. I hope you have been more forthright with them than you have with us, because on the face of it, this stinks.

I took this car for a test drive when viewing a few months back, it's by no means mint! Had no service history, roof was rough, interior in bits and tatty, had been swithed from auto to manual with no proof or history whatsoever and was for sale for ages! Probably had trouble selling and decided to do a insurance job if you ask me.

how about keeping your comments to yourself.
I'd like to see your e30 to see how "mint" it is, this car was advetised for sale and you came to view it.
I told you everything truthfully, i told you the gearbox had been changed, i didn't have to and 9 out of 10 people selling cars would not have bothered.
Probably done an insurance job yea?
Not everyone thinks and actions them selves like you mate.
If you have nothing helpful to say then how about you don't bother posting pointless comments.
